The Apple Bonkers is a harmony band, specializing in classic rock and rhythm and blues. We’ve played for an audience of 500 singing and dancing fans at Market Hotel in Bushwick; at a festival at Bowery Electric, had a residency at Gansevoort Market and a few appearances at Theater for the New City. We’ve performed for thousands of bicyclists at the Five Borough Bike Tour, and for various kinds of private events over the years. We’ve even created “Bonkermania” in the NYC subway. We’ve gotten great reviews. We’d love to play for you.
We can perform as a 4, 5 or 6-piece band, depending on your needs and tailor our set list for you. We can be hard rocking or mellow, or both. Your choice. Below is a sampling of videos in different venues and different styles and a live audio medley.

In 2019, I was just a tourist in New York City. I was at the Times Square station one day and heard your song while transferring trains. I was already late for my appointment, but I couldn’t resist following the sound and seeing the show. I now live in New York, and I remember the first encounter with you guys vividly. You have such a beautiful power to make others happy and realize that life, even life in New York, can be magical. I hope you get to see your show again soon.
